Christmas 2010

Cute girl in fun Christmas clothes.
Thank you to Nana for finding lots of inexpensive cute things at D.I.

Most of the group.

Becki and baby

The only sad thing about Christmas this year (besides not having both of my families with me) was that Brian had a headache :( We had a lot of fun with our family at Nana and Papa's. Matthew called Santa to let him know he would be there so he should bring his presents there. He was so much fun this year. Some days I thought the anticipation/excitement/wait would be more than he could bear. Of course, he had lots of questions
and I think he enjoyed every minute of it.

Here is Rachel in the high chair that weirds me out.

Lovin' from her cousins :)

Proof that we go caroling, although we didn't have the guitar this year.

Rachel's first caroling experience.

7 months and decorating

Here is my beautiful at 7 months-

The boys putting the village up.

Stockings :)
Matthew was concerned about how Santa would get to our house without a chimney, but luckily Nana and Papa's house has one.

My favorite part of Christmas is the tree. Notice the heavily decorated bottom.

Mmmm, turkey

Thanksgiving isn't complete unless mom's rolls are there.

My dad's so silly :) I asked him to give me an "action shot".

Mom's new hobby is candle making.

All the girls got together and made a whole bunch. Here are most of them.

We decorated the tree on the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

Two of my favorite girls :)

It snowed a lot while we were there. Matthew is walking in my
foot prints because it was so deep.

The twins were watching from the door so I decided to throw snow at them.
I'm the bestest auntie!

We attempted to make a snowman, but the snow wasn't cooperating so he is sitting down.
Matthew named him "fat man" . . . no idea where he comes up with this stuff.

Frolicking!

Already?

Little Miss at 6 months is still in the 3rd percentile (12 lbs 10 oz) for weight and her head is now the 70th. The doctor said it's because she has so many brains.

She has the most delectable cheeks! She needs to be occupied all the time, usually either mommy or toys. She still eats every few hours and still doesn't want much to do with solids.

And a random photo for you-

Yay or nay?

Eating cereal for the first time-

Yay, she likes it!

She doesn't like it . . .

Trying to decide

Yeah, probably not.
So far baby girl isn't a fan of solid food :(

Halloween 2010

Matthew scraping the pumpkin out without touching it with his hands.

Preschool party, doing the cupcake walk.

Not really Halloween, but we had lots of fun playing in the leaves. He wanted to wear his costume a lot and being the cool mom that I am, I let him.

Since the Air Force game was the same time as the trunk or treat we went to Boo at the Zoo. We got their before it opened and it was wonderful. We got a parking spot and the lines were getting long as we were finishing up.

5 months

Here is baby girl at 5 months (I am exactly one month behind . . . )
She is such a cute baby. She has a magnetic personality. She gives her smiles away so freely and has a cute giggle. Rachel likes to look at herself in the mirror; she would rather have someone talking to her than having toys to play with. We love her to pieces :)

Happy things

Eternal families!!!!!!
(be prepared for lots of !. It reminds me of that Seinfeld when Elaine dumps
a guy because of his ! usage.)
Anyway, this is my cousin Mark, his wife Tiff and their baby Mabel :) After a long, difficult road they were able to finalize their adoption and be sealed.
I can't say enough about how happy that is!

Pretty flowers!! A little known fact-I won a few blue ribbons at the county fair for flower arranging. I have probably forgotten lots of the guidelines, but I still love to pretend like I know what I'm doing :)

My boys playing at the park! Matthew just can't get enough of his daddy. One of my favorite things is to listen to them playing together.

Fall!!!! My favorite time of the year. I love the colors, sounds, and smells. If I could do it all over I would have had a fall wedding and of course the weather would have cooperated to be at it's peak beauty right when I needed it :)

Sleeping baby!! I feel like she could always use more sleep
(or maybe it's just me).

Baby girl!!!!!!! Seriously, I think it is physically
impossible for her to be any cuter.

Stay tuned for Halloween happenings and the 5 month photo (I decided I should probably get it up before she is 6 months in just a few days . . . . )
